We Will Miss You, Deb

Deb Always Brought Her Infectious Cheer To The Market
4MRMarket lost a dear friend and member of its family this week. Deb Charters "the fish lady" of Northern Lights Seafood passed away. Many remember Deb from our charter year at the market where could always been found with her beautiful dog and her wonderful salmon. She was a bright spirit and we and our customers have missed her dearly during her illness. Keep her in your thoughts.

Debra J. Charters, 48, of Marshall, VA died on June 14, 2011 at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.

She was born in Portland, Oregon on November 6, 1962. Mrs. Charters was the owner/operator of Northern Lights Seafood and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Steven J. Charters, her mother, Phyllis Plumlee and sister, Donna Baldwin, both of Portland. Her father, Donald L. Plumlee of Salina, Oklahoma preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 10 until 11 AM at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton, VA, where a memorial service will be held at 11 AM. Father Mike who knew Debra well for over 12 years will be performing the services.

There will be two additional Masses - one on 14 August 2011 and one on 06 November 2011 to honor her memory. She will be mentioned at Mass this coming weekend and will be placed on the prayers list as well.
