4MR Winter Market Reminder: Is it Spring Already?!

The Four Mile Run Winter Market (4MR Winter Market) will be open every Sunday from 9am until 1pm until the main market kicks off back outside in April.  Located in Four Mile Run Park at 4109 Mt Vernon Avenue, Alexandria. (click here for directions)

One of our popular Spring/Summer/Fall vendors will visit us to sell her fair trade wares this weekend!

Whitney's World, Kenya Microcrafts will have baskets and, new for Easter and spring, decorated soapstone eggs! And just in time!  With sun and temperatures in the 60's, it looks like Punxsutawney Phil was right this year!  Early spring, indeed!

All Whitney's World profits go to the African artisan women that produce these beautiful products.

We'll have a full slate of vendors again this weekend, with Red Fish Rue Fish back with their unique and sometimes geeky jewelry pieces, custom buttons, prints, and microart.

Also Thorn & Thistle is back for her second appearance on top of all of your regularly scheduled vendors!

We're sure any of you who purchased flowers from her on Valentine's day were quite pleased!
