All you Dads that love local, stop by for a coffee from St. Elmo's Coffee Pub and a nice breakfast item Savory 'N Sweet, then kick your feet up in the 4MRMarket Lounge and watch the funky performance by Nila Kay. Lastly, grab some incredible pasture raised beef and/or naturally raised pork from What's for Dinner Now, some artisan cheese from Tom's Amish Cheese, and some grillin' veggies from C&T Produce and get ready for a great Fathers Day cookout.
It's supposed to be in the low-to-mid 80s and sunny, so it's a perfect day to enjoy the great outdoors!
As for produce, C&T Produce offers a fantastic produce selection, including things like blueberries, greenhouse tomatoes, lettuces, cucumbers, many varieties of squash, zucchini, green onions, leeks, sugar snap peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, and more! Get in on natures goodies this weekend.
This Week on 4MR Stage
Local singer/songwriter/guitarist Nila Kay will be on the 4MR Stage from 10am-Noon this Sunday! Nila plays a mixture of pop, funk, blues, soul, and rock that will definitely leave you feeling great on a perfect Sunday morning.
Nila also is the creator of “Fierce”- a girls’ songwriting workshop for preteen girls to help them build confidence and have fun while learning a creative skill. If you have a young girl that might be interested, get more information here!

SPREAD THE WORD. Please tell folks about us. And tell folks about some of the great things we're doing. For instance, all SNAP/EBT participants can take advantage of the Inova-sponsored "Double Dollar" program again this year that doubles the first $10 SNAP participants spend at the market. 4MRMarket is the first farmers’ market in Northern Virginia (and still the only) to accept SNAP. And C&T Produce now accepts SFMNP vouchers!
The Four Mile Run Farmers and Artisans Market (Alexandria, Virginia 22305) brings fresh, nutritious food to people of all income levels, provide an opportunity for local artisans and producers of goods to bring their wares to market, strive to reflect the diversity of the community, and improve the quality of life for Arlandria residents and visitors.
