4MRMarket Report: Big Market Day!

4MRMarket is open every Sunday from 9am until 1pm from April 27th until November in Four Mile Run Park at 4109 Mt Vernon Avenue, Alexandria. (click here for directions)

4MRMarket will have a big list of vendors Sunday, so you're going to want to get your hot-crossed buns to the market today!

The Stifler's Farm (What's For Dinner, Now) will be back for their only visit this month. Popular vendor Uncommon Knits will be there (and they're not doing Art on the Avenue this year), so load up on Christmas and birthday presents with their incredible hand-woven towels, place-mats, and other linens!

Rocklands BBQ Food Truck!
Not to mention District Line will be there with their great DC-themed tees, Caffeine will be back after a one-week hiatus, and all your favorite regulars will be there as well.

And... drum roll, please... food trucks return to 4MRMarket this weekend with Rocklands BBQ!!! They'll have some breakfast items on the menu as well, so come early and come often!

In short, this will be our biggest market yet this season, with a few things that are totally stockpile-worthy!

Charity Watch

Cleaning out your closets? 4MRMarket can help. We're hosting St. Rita's Annual Clothing Drive collection Sundays through October 19th!

St. Rita Church is conducting its annual clothing drive and will be collecting gently worn, clean cold weather clothing and rain gear of all sizes this week.

Look for the collection box at the 4MRMarket Tent. The clothing will be distributed on Saturday, October 25th from the St. Rita School Hall to our neighbors in Arlandria.

Also, don't forget to check out more information about the 4MR Park Community Fall Tree Planting at: www.arlandria.org

This Week on 4MR Stage...

Mike Elosh is a roots and folk musician that you've probably heard during his monthly performances at St. Elmo's Coffee Pub.

Mike provides the music from last tour of the 4MRMarket, so check it out to get a sampling of his works and a fun tour of the market!

Remember, these musicians volunteer their time on Sunday mornings to make yours even brighter! They graciously accept tips and friendly applause, so please help support music at the market!

Remember, the performance is free, but Mike and all our musicians welcome tips and friendly applause for sharing their craft with you on a lovely Sunday morning.

Please see the 4MRMarket Facebook event page for more information about the show!
