4MRMarket Report: Last Week to Stock Up On Salmon!

The Four Mile Run Farmers & Artisans Market (4MRMarket) will be open every Sunday from 9am until 1pm year-round in Four Mile Run Park at 4109 Mt Vernon Avenue, Alexandria. (click here for directions)
Don't Miss Out! Get Your Salmon While You Can with Captain Xans!

4MRMarket is ramping up and produce selection will continue to grow throughout May. The market has been buzzing this year with more great vendors and the same great music and festive atmosphere. One vendor we will miss after this Sunday is Captain Xans, who will be here May 1st but then won't be back until August.  So...

Stock Up On Salmon

Captain Xans will be taking off to replenish stock in Bristol Bay, Alaska this week. This is the last Sunday you can pick up his wild caught Alaskan salmon until he gets back from his annual excursion in August. Don't miss out! He'll have extra supply on hand so clear some space in your freezer and don't be without this flavorful, sustainably fished highlight of 4MRMarket!

Bike Rodeo Postponed

Due to the possibility of showers, the bike rodeo will be postponed until May 15th. The event is open to all children 5 to 12! The bike rodeo gives kids a chance to polish and show off their biking skills – just in time for a summer of fun biking! Please see our Facebook event page for more info.
